Vintage excellent 1940s english waterman fountain pen. Waterman's 513 fountain pen. Made in england c 1940'. Here for your perusal is, a lovely, vintage.
Waterman' in "black " celluloid with gold plated trim. The pen overall, is in "very good" condition.
Only wear commensurate with age and very careful use. Fully-serviced & re-sac'd and working.
The cap with a"deco" style gold plated clip is very securely in place, with gold plated twin cap bands. The cap has no cracks or breaks. It screws on and posts securely.
The 14ct w-1 "oblique" nib is in v-good condition. It has a medium tip and there is good iridium on both tines. Waterman's 14ct w-1 and has very good ink flow.
The barrel is in "good" condition. There is a barrel imprint. The sturdy gold plated lever works very well and is in good condition. Alittle wear showing to the plating. The pen has been fully-serviced, re-sac'd and is in excellent working condition. Showing only wear commensurate with careful usage and age. Pen size is 12.8 cm capped and 15.4 cm posted.
