On offer is a well preserved and fully serviced user-grade example of a full sized waterman commando fountain pen, manufactured in the canadian waterman plant between 1940-1946. Note the deeper than average clip- allied uniform regulations at the time insisted that only the clip itself be visible when the pen was placed in a jacket pocket. The solid 14k gold nib is a smooth and lively semiflex ranging from f-b with light to medium pressure (see writing sample). There is some light brassing and corrosion on the hardware of the pen (once again, please see photographs). There is some light staining on the nib from ink of ages past- it does not effect writing ability in the slightest. The lever filling mechanism is robust and snappy, having been fully restored with a new correctly sized latex ink sac. The maroon celluloid has darkened slightly with age, but is completely sound and ready to be put to work. Please do not hesitate to message me with any questions you may have.

This item is made of celluloid, 14k gold, steel, brass, latex rubber and maroon celluloid.
