Vintage, PARKER TELEVISOR Fountain Pen vintage c1930's,
Lovely vintage parker televisor(slender size) fountain pen. 14k nib 1937 canada"classic black". Here, for your perusal is a lovely vintage parker televisor.
Manufactured in parker's toronto factory, canada in 1937. The pen has been fully-serviced, ultrasonically cleaned, and re-sac'd. It is in very good condition and working very well. The finish is in "classic black" celluloid. Fully-serviced (stripped down to all individual components, ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt).
The cap's black "domed" cliplock top is in excellent condition. It holds the clip very securely in place.
The "ball-end" style clip is gold plated. And it is also in "very good" condition. Only a little wear showing in places.
It shines up very well. The cap's triple narrow cap rings show very little wear to the plating. They shine up beautifully as well. The cap has no cracks or breaks. Only light wear commensurate with age and careful usage.
It tightens up and posts very securely on to the barrel. The 14k medium fine tipped nib is in excellent condition with a little flex. The nib has nice gentle flex. It writes with a fine /medium line. It has plenty iridium at its tip and it writes very well and smoothly.
The "comb" style feed is in excellent condition. The section is also in excellent condition. It has a red transparent area at it's base where it pushes in to the barrel. The barrel is in great condition. Again, only light wear commensurate with age and careful use.The barrel imprint is readable. Made in parker reg'd.
The pen's black, round ended blind cap is in very nice condition. The blind cap screws on and off smoothly from the barrel. The filling system is working very well. The brass button is in excellent condition.
A new latex sac of the correct size installed. This is a very collectable. Parker televisor button-filling fountain pen. With it's original medium fine tipped 14k nib. Restored to great working condition. It has been fully-serviced, re sac'd and finally given a very light polish. Overall, very collectable and very usable parker televisor fountain pen manufactured in toronto, canada back in the mid to late 1930's. Which looks and feels wonderful to write with. The pen size is 12.2 cm capped and 14.4 cm posted.
