Vintage Mentmore Fountain Pen circa 1940.

Vintage mentmore fountain pen circa 1940. Beautiful grey/green marbled colour with gold trim in full working order. Looks almost unused and in mint condition.

Beautiful shades of light and dark grey pearl and black marble. The gold plated fittings have no plating loss and polish up nicely, a nice size measuring 130mm (5) capped. The pen is excellent with no cracks, scratches and no personal engravings. It only has light surface marks from normal usage. The cap has a black conical stud with single narrow gold cap band and the gold pocket clip has the'm' logo.

This pen has been fully serviced, dismantled and cleaned. A new sac fitted, nib smoothed and tuned, hand polished and write tested, all in perfect working order. Authentic original 14ct gold nib stamped' mentmore osmi iridium 14ct. The medium nib has been tuned and writes nicely.
