Vintage CONWAY STEWART No 55 Duro Fountain Pen c1940s

Conway stewart no 55 "duro" fountain pen c1940s. Glossy black celluloid with gold trim. Cap with c/s pocket clip, black cap stud and triple gold bands. Barrel imprint'the conway stewart no, 55' is very legible and it has a "made in england" imprint surrounding the barrel asain legible.

The gold lever shows some wear but works perfectly and buffs up very well. The huge original'conway stewart 14ct gold duro nib with plenty of iridium on display.

Minor age related wear commensurate with it's 75 or so years vintage. Lever filling system - serviced, with new ink sac, tested & in perfect working order.
