The early models were "the conway stewart"'the' being dropped for the later models. This fountain pen has been fully restored. Gold plated fittings in excellent condition with no flaws, . It is a nice fountain pen with polished body and cap, the imprint on the barrel is clear, it reads. The 388 has been a very popular model, and has had a reasonably long run, it is a very nicely finished pen with its three cap rings.The nib is a 14 ct gold 5n medium, and it has been inked and write tested. The pen is 12.54 cm long capped, .
