The Socrates in Orange Sunspot

The socrates in orange sunspot is a custom made fountain pen featuring a stunning acrylic body and a #6 bock two tone gold nib and premium beaufort ink converter. I can also craft the socrates as a refillable rollerball with interchangeable sections. There are no metal parts in this style of pen except the nib and therefore the pen is extremely light and easy to use.

The matching blue ebonite section is gently shaped for a comfortable grip from approx 12 mm diameter at the cap thread down to 10 mm diameter at the nib. The overall dimensions are approximately. I craft these items on a wood lathe and finally polish to a very high gloss which both protects and highlights the deep beauty of the resin. Because of the natural variation in the way the colours are created in the resin each pen is slightly different in colour but they are all beautiful.
