Stunning Emperor Fountain Pen

The pen comes with a two-tone yowo #6 nib which is made in germany and iridium tipped for smoother writing. The segmented barrel design started in a woodshop with figured blue maple, maple burl, and honduran rosewood burl. Honduran rosewood is one of the most sought after woods for pen making due to its beautiful deep brownish-purple.

With diminishing availability and the rarity of the burl make this a fitting complement to such an exquisite pen. Finally, the barrel is accented with aluminum bars. The skill needed to piece together a barrel of this calibur only comes with years of practice and hundreds of iterations. It is truly a work of art.

Once the barrel is pieced together, it is turned to shape on the wood lathe. Then it is meticulously sanded, finished, and buffed to a high gloss shine. It is then inspected to ensure the dimensions are exact to allow for a perfect fit and finish. Finally, the pen is carefully assembled and checked for proper operation.
