Sheaffer NoNonsense Fountain Pen with Handcrafted Urushi Finish

Filling system sheaffer cartridge or converter. Tamenuri urushi technique was applied to this pen.

The underlying red urushi layer was painted over with layers of lighter colored urushi for the intended effect. The base pen on which the urushi finish was applied is a white sheaffer nononsense fountain pen (later version) with snap cap and soft rubber grip section.

The original rubber grip material was removed and the space filled in with epoxy the urushi finish was then applied on the section. Please look at the pictures carefully as they are part of the description; feel free to ask if you have any questions.
