Restored Sheaffer's Dry Proof Desk Set with Brown Lifetime Fine Point Fountain Pen Vintage 1930's

The combination of brown tones reminds me of a car my grandmother had. Carefully and thoroughly cleaned and polished, restored to working condition, and ready for your favorite ink. The 14k lifetime nib is a smooth-writing fine point.

The dry proof models from the depression included a clever little widget in the pen socket that was supposed to seal the pen, when turned by the key in the gripping section. It didn't really work, but that doesn't affect its value or usability today. The marble base measures 85mm in diameter, about 7mm high. The pen is 185mm long.

Vintage pens from days of yore are fragile however, and i cannot guarantee that it will work or hold ink into the future. Your care will make the difference there.
