RARE Visconti Hanoverian Gigolo FRH Limited Edition Fountain Pen Horse 44 500

The hanovarian gigolo series is made of black lucite, the barrel is covered with a shell of sterling silver showing the engraved portrait of horse & rider. The nib is made of 14k gold, partially rhodinated, so that only the hanoverian brand appears in gold. The pen is filled by a piston mechanism, and it is in excellent working condition. Clip and the trims are made of solid sterling silver. Any marks shown in the photos are simply smudge or camera marks, this pen is in excellent condition. The "the hanoverian" is the first series of writing instruments presented by visconti, which addresses not only collectors of rare writing instruments but horse lovers all around the world. The hanovarian gigolo is limited to 500 pieces worldwide, making this particular fountain pen #44 out of 500 (044/500). Sadly the original box was lost long ago, along with the documents which would have gone with the pen. This pen is being offered to help raise funds for senior sanctuary horses, and horses suffering from ptsd trauma at heart of the wild sanctuary.
