In perfect condition, the telescopic piston descends and draws ink without any problems. Both stages of the piston are smooth and function perfectly. The star is white and in great shape. The trim is excellent with no brassing. The ebonite cap is black with no discoloration. There is no browning of the ebonite. The nib is a 14c in a medium fine with little flex and the feed is flat.
