Parker Vacumatic Fountain pen c1940s
Parker vacumatic long major golden pearl fountain pen. This vacumatic pen has been fully serviced with a new vac sac/diaphragm fitted (and tested). Ultrasonically cleaned and hand polish of the components. The components on this pen are vintage and are in super condition. The filling unit with a new diaphragm works nice and smoothly.
The imprint on the barrel is legible'geo. Parker; parker vacumatic; made in usa. Parker stopped making this model of vacumatic in 1948 in the usa and 1953 in canada. This 1944 vac has had a high quality parker replacement gold 14ct nib.
The trim is gold-filled and i don't see any brassing on the twin cap bands. The split arrow pocket clip was introduced by parker in 1937. The barrel, cap and blind cap are excellent & have a beautiful sheen, the trim really shines too. Overall, a superb example of parker at it's best. This is an excellent vacumatic and would make a great addition to any fountain pen collection with a superb sheen and gorgeous trim. This golden pearl vac is an example of parker at it's finest.
