This 1930s vac has the original parker high quality 14ct "golden arrow" nib. Parker nibs are very high quality. The trim is silver and the pocket clip is nice and tight on the cap. The split arrow clip was introduced by parker in 1937. The barrel is very good with some patination which is expected.
The cap and blind cap are good & have a nice sheen, the trim really shines too. Overall, a very nice example. Parker made the vacumatic in many sizes, both length and girth - typically the most common were the debutante (smallest), standard, major, and over-sized (later changed to maxima), and a few others as well the vacumatic had a long and prosperous run but over the course of the models run. This is an excellent vacumatic "standard" and will make a great addition to any fountain pen collection with a super sheen and gorgeous trim. This item is made of celluloid, gold nib and vacumatic.
