PARKER 51 Classic Fountain Pen. vintage c1950s

Vintage parker'51' "aerometric filler"fountain pen c1950s. Celluloid with a classic lustralloy cap. Parker'51' aerometric filling, fountain penmanufactured in parker's newhaven factory, england in the 1950's.

The cap has the "clear clip lock top "jewel in good condition showing and holds the pocket clip firmly in place. Cap is overall, in good condition and it pushes on and posts very smoothly and securely on to the barrel. The original medium/fine gold nib is in excellent condition showing plenty of iridium , it writes very well too. The nib has the imprints. The long narrow feed, horizontally ridged collector and breather tube have all been correctly serviced and work as they should.

The black colored shell casing is in very good condition, no cracks or breaks. The matching barrel is in very nice condition only minimal wear commensurate with age and careful use.

The barrel unscrews smoothly to reveal the internal aerometric filling system. This has the imprinted filling instructions. The filling system is in great condition with a new sac and working very well as it should. Overall, a very collectable and fully working. Parker'51'fountain pen, manufactured in the 1950s.

In great serviced condition for around seventy years old. Pen size is 13.7 cm capped and 15.3 cm posted. This item is made of gold nib and authentic.
