Osage Orange Bespoke Fountain Pen

It's a tree, but it also grows like a really big bush and was often planted as a living fence in some places because of its large thorns (which show up as little'eyes' in some of the pens). Local lore says that'hedge apples around your house keep away anything from ants to elephants. The wood itself is insect and rot resistant and fence posts made of hedge can easily last 50 years set only into dirt.

It is a little piece of prairie history. This is a beautiful bespoke fountain pen. The color is rich and vibrant. The section is hand turned rose wood.
