Omega Gun Metal Red Mallee and Opal Fountain Pen

Omega gun metal fountain pen with red mallee pen blank inlayed with synthetic opal. The body of the pen is hand turned and two bands of synthetic opal have been inlayed. The opal has a colour shift property depending on the angle viewed.

The blank is then finished and protected with several coats of melamine lacquer and a final coat of wax. This provides a hard wearing finish to the pen. The pen is supplied in the case shown in the pictures and comes with an ink convertor and a black international cartridge refill that is replaceable.

This item is made of red mallee burl and synthetic opal.
