Maple Burl and Brass Artisan Fountain Pen Handmade Custom Jowo Nib

This fountain pen was handmade from stabilized and dyed maple wood burl and black japanese ebonite. It features three brass accent bands that accentuate the transition between materials. The cap is fully lined with ebonite and the body is sleeved with ebonite.

The ebonite finials and section are highly polished while the maple wood is stain finished with a blend of carnauba, beeswax, and walnut oil. This pen has a longer body and section and feels good in the hand.

The vibrance and depth of the materials are hard to capture in any photograph and must be seen in person to be truly appreciated. About the materials: alumilite is specially formulated and, unlike some other resins/acrylics that are fragile and prone to shattering, produces a more durable final product.
