Fountain pen was crafted from brazilian rosewood (true rosewood)and matched with chrome and gun metal fittings. This pen does have the capability of posting the cap while the pen is in use. The pen features a clear swarovski crystal on the pen clip, an exposed accent ring, custom hand-carved 3-demnsional designs, extremely durable polished plating, and all components are cast. The pen does have a medium #5 nib and comes with one ink cartridge and an ink pump / converter.
Brazilian rosewood comes from brazil. Colors in the wood can range from chocolate brown, reddish brown, and lighter purples. The wood commonly has black streaks running through it and the wood grain can sometimes create a spider web design in the wood. The wood is listed as an endangered species and is on both protection lists. This wood can no longer be transported over country lines.
The use of this wood is limited to current stock within the country, making it one of the most expensive woods on the market today. This wood is now commonly used for small projects including turned items due to its scarcity. We make several of these pens at one time.

Due to the nibs and ink used in fountain pens, the fountain pens must be unused if returned.
