Take your handwriting up to the next level with this showstopping one-of-a-kind two piece fountain pen. This pen is made from a triple dyed and resin-stabilized box elder burl in brilliant tones of blue, hot pink, and red/purple.

Since the wood encapsulates the entire pen, the only visible hardware is the solid brass section when the pen is uncapped. This design really allows you to appreciate the wood without any of the distracting hardware or adornment. This fountain pen comes with a standard ink cartridge in your choice of blue or black. Also included is a standard ink converter so you can use any ink of your choice whichever you choose, the high quality #5 bock nib will put ink to paper extremely smoothly, without skips and inconsistent lines. The definition of functional art, this pen is crafted with usability first, and while somewhat large in size it is comfortable in the hand and amazingly lightweight at only 30 grams, for a well-balanced writing experience.

When not being used, it will make a showstopping piece of art to display on your desk. I carefully finished this pen with a 25-plus step, hand-applied durable coating which is polished to a deep shine, then buffed with carnauba wax for an extra layer of depth and protection.
