Hand carved wood fountain pen Handmade Dayacom fountain pen in brown box elder burl
This is a hand-turned wooden pen made with stabilized, brown-dyed box elder burl. The components are high-quality and with proper care this pen will last a lifetime (and could even be passed down to the next generation). Nib is revealed by unscrewing the cap; cap can then be posted onto the end of the pen. Pen has a heavy, balanced feel in the hand. Smooth, generous ink flow makes writing a pleasure. Wood was turned on my lathe and wet-sanded to 12000 grit, then treated with oil and renaissance wax for a natural finish that protects the wood while still allowing the user to feel the grain under their fingers. Makes a wonderful gift for journalers, calligraphers, teachers, students, bosses, or to mark a graduation or promotion. All pens made by me, in my home woodshop.
This item is made of box elder burl and stabilized wood, dayacom jr george components, chrome, jowo nib.
