This is a unique hand-turned oriental dragon high-grade' fountain pen made with 24kt gold and palladium fittings with australian red coolabah burl wood which has a typically has a density of 900 to 1,100 kilograms per cubic metre with a reddish brown colour. Indigenous australians used the wood to make spears fire-making apparatus, message sticks, wooden dishes, and throwing sticks. It has jewellery grade plating with a unique and intricate hand carved dragon. The dragon's body is entwined around the finial of the barrel, the center band, the cap finial, and finally culminating with the head of the dragon on the clip. The barrel final has richly engraved details, while the cap features a sparkling inlaid ruby red stone. All of the casting work on the pen kit has been done by hand.
It has a sculpted nib section and ruby-red swarovski crystals eyes inset into the dragon clip in addition to the larger one set into finial.
