This is a hand turned jr emperor style fountain pen. The jr emperor is the perfect size pen for everyday use.
The very striking details at the waist and finial provide a classic elegant look. The body is genuine 1970 dodge proto fordite (detroit agate) breitling watch parts body on a rhodium and 22kt gold jr emperor fountain pen. This pen is a true work of art.
The fordite is turned to a very slim size and then the black and gold breitling dial is installed on top of the fordite. It is then cast in clear resin and then turned a 2nd time. Then they are polished to 12000 grit then buffed to crystal clear finish. The finish is like glass and this pen is an heirloom piece. This is a fountain pen with a high quality nib it is a non-posting pen, meaning the top, once removed, cannot be screwed on to the opposite end of the lower body. The hardware has a rhodium and 22kt gold finish, a significant upgrade finish with a striking appearance and long wear life. It features the same durable plating and unique and intricate hand carved patterns that have been richly coated in 22k gold.All of the castings are done by hand at the factory, with a lot of care and attention to detail. Each component is checked by hand to ensure a proper fit and finish and then the pen is once more hand polished to ensure perfection.

It may be helpful for you do know that extreme changes in temperature and humidity will have an effect on the resin or wood used to create this product.
