Fountain pen - peter bock nib - conway stewart vintage - opal. This pen blank (barrel material) should need little introduction. It comes from the liquidated stock of the world famous, vintage conway stewart pen maker. This material simply will not be around forever, it is limited edition conway stewart'opal'. The fountain pen has a bock size 5 type 80 fountain pen nib, it is stainless steel and of superb quality, with smooth, seamless, reliable writing characteristics. The pen is supplied with an ink converter (for use with bottle inks) and several standard ink cartridges. The pen is designed to be used without the cap, the body has a lovely, balanced weight and can be carried in the pocket via the clip, but would also make a stunning desk pen. The cap end is solid black and the nib barrel end tapers in to a pleasing chromed end cap. I have hand turned and then hand polished the pen to an incredible and durable shine and i can not stress the exceptional quality of the vintage conway stewart material, any pen collector, enthusiast or someone who simply loves beautiful things will not be unimpressed. This pen will be supplied in a velvet sleeve as standard, other options are available in my shop listings should you prefer.
