Fountain Pen (King Size)

It is larger than our other pens both in length and diameter (please see the photos of this size and our usual size pen) to compare. This handmade fountain pen is made from turkish catalin that is used to make famous turkish prayer beads.

The catalin is a so interesting material that its colour saturates with time and it becomes more valuable. The pen was carefully shaped on a wood lathe with hand tools. The coupling elements were hand made from brass on a metal lathe.
