Classic elite fountain pen in beautifulblack gold matrix tru-stone. The barrel is made with tru-stone and theaccent pieces areplated in epoxy coated 24k gold. The pen's nib is high quality german-made and is 24k gold plated.
Well balanced and smooth writing with its german made nib, this pen won't disappoint. The pen body is made from a stone product which gives the pen a feeling of mass, and authority with out being over-sized and clunky. The included prefilled ink cartridge adds convenience.
Also included is an ink converter that allows you to use your favorite bottle ink. The material used to make the pen body is tru-stone black gold matrix. Tru-stone is made with pulverized stone bound together with special polymers. Each pen body is approximately 85%stone, and 15% polymer.
The gold veining is not real gold but gives the appearance of a gold vein in a gold mine wall. The tru-stone material polishes to a beautiful high luster. Tru-stone is one of the most challenging materials i work with. Since the material is actually made of stone, it causes a lot of wear on the lathe turning tools.
It requires almost constant sharpening of the tools. But the end result is worth the effort. The average tru-stone pen takes approximately 3 hours of turning time on the lathe. All of our pens are handmade with the finest materials available. Each pen is turned, finished, and assembled by hand one pen at a time.
The natural variation in the material gives each pen a truly unique appearance. Since i don't use any duplicators, or automation of any kind every pen is truly one-of-a-kind. I can also make a pen using different combinations of colors, finishes, and styles.I can make literally thousands of different combinations.
