Dodge City Jake Model Custom Handmade Fountain Pen

This is the jake model with straight profile and conical shaped ends on cap and barrel. Material: little pen designs dodge city. Nib: choice of jowo #6 in polished steel or gold plated (ef, f, m, b, 1.1 or 1.5).

Cap: threaded, triple start (2 turns). Pen dimensions all measurements are given in millimeters and should serve as a general guide only.

Since every pen is made by hand, no two pens will be exact matches in size. Closed length: 143.0 mm. Open length: 136.0 mm. Section grip: 11.5 mm. Section pinch: 10.5 mm.

I use only hand tools and a wood lathe, no automation or mass manufacturing. This process ensures that every pen i create is a unique work of art. The majority of my fountain pens are made from alumilite resin blanks, some of which have been custom made in my shop. I use calipers to accurately measure each piece and then turn down the body, cap and section on a lathe. Final sanding, polishing and buffing create a truly spectacular finish.
