Has been manufacturing a variety of pen related advertising since 1838. In 1930, company has start creating figuring in the form of the pelikan in support of its fountain pens sales. The initial version were a cadmium yellow and promoted sales of the model 100. The older pieces are incredible difficult to come by but in most recent years more versions that were released to german dealers after the m400's introduced in 1980's.
It is lesser known fact that these figuring's engaged in much lesser variety in sizes and colors. This specific pelikan pens stand is the larger ever produced in most sough after in dark green color. In 1988 pelikan was celebrating the 150th anniversary of the company while we see these pen stands in white most commonly, there are actually have been an abundance of colors produced.
Total pelikan pen stands was produced in three sizes and one the largest as a store window display in scares and rare color the highly luster dark green with some weave patents reassemble feathers as pictured.
