Handcrafted fountain pen made from redwood burl. Pen is approximately 0.46" in diameter and is approximately 5.5" long.

Redwood (sequoia sempervirens) is native to the pacific coast of the usa, extending from monterey bay california up to the southwestern part of oregon. This unique biome consists of heavy rainfall and cool, damp air to create a unique environment for these trees.

In these conditions the trees can grow to 400 feet tall. Redwood burls are some of the most valued pieces for projects, with lovely lace and "eye" patterns.
