Artisan Fountain pen in a swirly Grey Acrylic

Designed and turned in-house, this is a unique handmade fountain pen. Based on the simple and clean lines of a classic cigar, the cap and barrel ends are finished in a gentle dome. This pen has been turned from a swirly grey acrylic - the swirls are black and light grey over a darker grey base. The section has a slight centre dip, providing a good finger grip. The cap is single threaded and can be removed within 3.5 turns. An advantage perhaps if kept in a laptop case or handbag - the cap won't unscrew there is a step of around 0.4 mm between the cap and the barrel. The pen is shown here paired with a bock nib (#6 or 250) polished steel nib (f) and a titanium nib (f). The polished steel nib is a fine contrast to the matt grey body whilst the titanium nib compliments the pen. However you may change the nib, on request for any other of the bock #6 nibs, at no further cost (save for the precious metal nibs :-). The final image above shows the various options of pen cases available at no further cost - the wood cases are turned to fit the pen, whilst the black box is pretty standard. The wooden cases have a friction fit cap, and can be turned from most hardwoods. The image shows examples of cases in walnut (darker) and olive ash (smaller), but other woods such as ash, beech or oak could be used.

Finally the pen is supplied with an ink convertor, an international ink cartridge and a roll stop which will be turned from a matching or contrasting acrylic or wood. Type - artisan fountain pen. Closed length - 148 mm.
