1920'S Conklin R.G. fountain pen and matching pencil with original box

Fountain pen & matching pencil w/ original box. Ring tops were popular in the early 1900's and were worn on a ribbon or chain around your neck. Sometimes that were also worn on a chatelaine. Both measure 3 1/2 long. Pen marked by threads: conklin toledo, ohio, u.

Pencil marked: conklin made in u. D h-dpulver jewelers new milford conn. Previous owners' initials are on both. Some wear on outside of box, at hinge. 14k nib eversharp made in u. In addition to the items noted above, there are the typical age-related surface scratches and wear that are commensurate with a vintage writing instrument.
