Flat top with the sheaffer white dot. "Ginormous" correct 14ct gold nib stamped'sheaffer's lifetime made in usa' with patent numbers. In perfect condition - firmish fine - very smooth with good ink flow. Lever filler - fully serviced and write tested - perfect working order.

Overall a really good example of a rare vintage lifetime senior oversize. Super nib and reasonably priced. Coming up to 100 years old. This beautiful pen is ready to use daily or collected for the next generation. The earliest date i'd put for this pen would be from sometime around 1926 onwards based on the feed design and barrel imprint though the nib may have been replaced a few years later as this a seven vs.

Five-line serial number after 1927, the text imprint on the barrel was changed slightly and the patent dates were removed; this pen's imprints have the patent dates. The condition is good, while there is some discolouration which is common with the pearl and black models today. There are no bite marks or cracking to the pen and the barrel imprint is still very crisp. The pen measures 134mm (5.3) in length. This pen has been thoroughly cleaned and polished and the nib has been reset and a new ink sac has been installed. The nib is smooth with plenty of remaining iridium as you can see from the photographs. The pen writes with a firm fine line and would make a great starter pen to use or add to your collection. This is a very usable pen and would be ideal for everyday use or a great addition to anyone's collection. This item is made of gold trim and fully serviced.
